Myra Noonan
Myra is a qualified teacher, living and working in Fingal. With a passion for arts and needlecrafts she has been teaching, practicing and learning about both for many years, most recently as a facilitator at Colour and Art at Swords and Balbriggan, Co. Dublin. In February 2026 she became a member of the Fingal Art Collective. She exhibited her work as part of this group at Ardgillan Castle Feb 28th to April 6th 2026, and also had a solo exhibition at Malahide Library in May 2026. Myra enjoys collaborative projects and in 2022 help set up the Golden Thread Group, a cross-community initiative which brings all Ireland communities together in their love of all things needlework. The group has exhibited their collaborative art at the Honouring Brokenness Exhibition, Fitzroy Presbyterian Church Belfast June to December 2024 and at F2 Centre, Rialto, Dublin in May and June 2025. Since 2023 she has been a volunteer facilitator as well as member of the Art Circle at Margaret Aylward Centre for Faith and Dialogue, Glasnevin, Dublin.
