Ardgillan Castle is situated between the coastal towns of Balbriggan and Skerries. Both towns rich with history and natural vista’s. Balbriggan Beach is an ideal walking spot to enjoy views of the Martello Tower, Bremore Castle and an 18th Century Lighthouse.

Skerries’ picturesque harbour, cosy cafes and friendly bars all act as magnets for people enjoying this seaside fishing town. The North and South strands are endlessly popular venues for paddleboarding, rowing, widsurfing and kayaking.

Dublin Coastal Trail

The Dublin Coastal Trail offers a view of Dublin beyond the city, highlighting the wealth of activities and experiences available along Dublin’s coast. Stretching from Balbriggan in North Dublin to Killiney in South Dublin, the trail is easily accessible by rail and encourages visitors to journey out of the city, bringing new life to Dublin’s coastline.
