Supporting Local Charities

In a decision that underscored the event’s community spirit, the Board of Ardgillan Castle pledged to donate the proceeds from all six events to local charities. Thanks to the unwavering support of attendees—every session played to a full house—Ardgillan Castle was able to make meaningful contributions to two vital organizations:

  • Skerries Forget Me Not Cafes, which provides support and a welcoming space for those affected by Alzheimer’s.
  • Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Balbriggan, a critical resource for families and individuals coping with Alzheimer’s disease.

To mark the occasion, the castle welcomed Miriam Carroll and Alice Crowe, representatives of the respective charities, for tea and a ceremonial cheque handover. The event highlighted the deep commitment of the castle to giving back to its community.
