The exhibition title “Silver Apple Branch” draws from the mystical apple branch in the Irish tales “The Voyage of Bran” and “Cormac’s Adventure in the Land of Promise”—a symbol of enchantment that offers entry into realms untouched by time and bound by mystery. Each work, in its own medium, invites viewers to step beyond the boundaries of the known, exploring landscapes and visions that pulse with the allure of the Otherworld.
The artists’ diverse approaches—ranging from intricate ink drawings to bold watercolors and textural collages—create a tapestry of portals, each leading to an unknown destination. Through these visual passages, viewers encounter places where everyday rules cease to apply, replaced by endless possibility and surreal beauty. Emotions shift and collide as we move through scenes of shadowy forests, glimmering shores, and abstracted dreamscapes, each piece a complexity of the unseen.
