Consistently Inconsistent

This exhibition presents the work of two artists, Antonio and Tina. It includes painting, sculpture, collage, and assemblage using found and everyday materials. Rather than settling into one method or medium, each artist shifts approach from one series of work to another.

What unites the work is not a shared visual language, but a shared approach: both artists respond to the material and the moment at hand. Here, they value responsiveness over repetition, and process over polished work.

Consistently Inconsistent does not ask viewers to locate a unifying thread. Instead, it invites them to notice where Antonio’s and Tina’s practices intersect, and where they diverge.

Meet The Artists

Antonio D’Souza

Antonio is a visual artist and designer/maker living in Skerries, North Co. Dublin. He comes from a mixed cultural heritage of Goan, Kenyan, and British. Having previously lived in London, he received a BA (Hons) in Furniture and Product Design from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication.

Working out of his studio, Antonio creates visual art and sculptural pieces by repurposing materials and mixed media — often hidden from sight or deemed useless. His work is informed by geometry, the coastal environment, local history, his layered identities and the aesthetics of decay.

Antonio has exhibited locally and in Dublin City and has also been the recipient of funding awards from the Arts Council, Fingal Arts Office, and Culture Ireland.

Antonio is a co-founder and active member of the artist collective Art Nomads, a group of multidisciplinary creatives from diverse cultural backgrounds. They completed a nine-month residency at the Irish Museum of Modern Art in 2023 and have exhibited in Ireland and Europe.

As an arts facilitator, he has collaborated with the National Gallery of Ireland, the National College of Art and Design, and the Department of Education.

The experience of Antonio’s artistic process is meditative, mystifying, and aids personal healing. It is in these areas that he seeks to connect with those who engage with his work.

Tina Poole

Tina Poole is a graduate in Fine Art Painting NCAD. Tina lives and paints in North County Dublin. Tinas work is currently in show at ArtNet DLRs Summer Group Show.
Her work will be on shown in the prestigious Hamilton Gallery Sligo as part of Cairde Arts Festival this month.
For two years running Tina’s work was exhibited in the Lido Stores Gallery, Margate U.K. she’s also shown work in Belfast and Enniskillen U.K.
Tina has exhibited all over Ireland, including the Ballinglen Biennial Exhibition in Co
Mayo last year. Tina’s work was shortlisted for the Hamley & Hamley French residency in 2025.
Tina’s work has been collected both privately and corporately.
