Bernadette Nic Gabhann
Saturday 25th Jan @ 1pm
Bernadette Nic Gabhann is from Co. Meath & has travelled the world as a fiddle player with ‘Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance’, Gaelforce Dance & others. Bernadette launched her solo Fiddle CD ‘Here to Play’ in 2017, a popular selection of 13 fiddle tracks, with accompaniment from Eileen Gannon on harp.

John Feely and Fran O’Rourke

John Feeley and Fran O’Rourke have specialised in traditional songs (in English and Irish) that feature in the writings of James Joyce. They have given concerts in Shanghai, New York, Philadelphia, Princeton, San Diego and Washington. In 2012 they gave a series of recitals with James Joyce’s own guitar, repair of which they sponsored.

Modern folk harpist, singer songwriter and composer BRÍDÍN carries on the tradition of Irish music into the fourth generation of her family. Over the years she has achieved many accolades for her musical ability including RTÉ Folk Awards Nominee and All Ireland Titles.

Macdara Yeates
Sunday 26th Jan @ 4pm
Following the release of his debut solo album ‘Traditional Singing from Dublin’, Macdara Yeates (ex-Skipper’s Alley) makes his TradFest debut at Ardgillan Castle on Sunday, January 26th.

Described by The Sid Valley Folk Show as “an absolutely stunning singer—a complete tour de force,” Macdara Yeates is one of a crop of young artists associated with the recent resurgence of traditional singing in Dublin City, alongside acts such as Lankum, Ye Vagabonds, and Landless.
