Alessandra has been drawing all her life, combining humour and observation to illustrate scenes of everyday life with warmth, irony and a playful signature style.

Having lived in Italy, Sweden and Ireland, she also loves to sketch the everyday landscapes that have formed and continue to form her through the years, as well as using fineliner pens to create detailed monochrome illustrations.

Since May 2024, Alessandra is working full time as artist and illustrator based at the Gardener’s Cottage, Ardgillan Castle and her work is available as a combination of originals, prints and cards. She also takes a limited number of commissions for bespoke illustrations throughout the year.
