From Paws Cafe to Creative Haven: A New Chapter for the Gardeners Cottage

default

Nestled in the heart of the Rose Garden at Ardgillan Castle, the Gardeners Cottage has always held a special charm. Steeped in history and surrounded by the beauty of nature, the cottage has worn many hats over the years – from the much-loved Paws Café to a tranquil holistic centre. Today, it begins a new chapter as a vibrant and inspiring home to a group of talented creatives.

Now operating as Art & Design Studios, the Gardeners Cottage is occupied by three remarkable artists: Alessandra Pollicini, Michele de Beer, and Nicola Weldon.

Alessandra, an artist and illustrator, brings enchanting stories to life through her expressive, imaginative artwork.

Michele, a fashion designer, has always been inspired by Africa’s rich, multi-cultural and creative heritage; the outdoors lifestyle and the verve for life which seems to exude from its people. Growing up alongside the Indian and African communities has been Michele’s greatest influences for her designs and fabric & product choices.
