A history of the railway halt for the Taylor family of Ardgillan Castle’

Maurice is an academic and poet, who lived beside the Ardgillan Halt during his early years.
David is a resident of Skerries, with an interest in local history. He is also a volunteer tour guide at Ardgillan Castle.
He has recently researched the Ardgillan Halt, the former railway halt facility at Ardgillan Castle.
The illustrated presentation and talk will trace the design, construction, operation, demise and demolition of the halt.
